Lenny’s Pizzeria, which is best known as the pizzeria that John Travolta ate a double-stacked slice in the 1977 movie, Saturday Night Fever just announced that they are closing for good on Sunday. It’s been open for 70 years!
Josephine wrote that her father, Frank Giordano is 77-years-old and it is time for him to retire and enjoy time with the family.

Frank has owned Lenny’s for 40 years. He told The Daily News he sold the building. (See below)
Many people in Brooklyn are attached to this iconic pizzeria and will be sad to hear about the short notice to get their last slice. Sunday, February 9th is the last day they will be open.
We will miss the stories from this pizzeria on 86th Street and 19th Avenue….Coca Cola Sundays!
Happy Retirement, Frank!
