Lombardo’s Pizzeria is Changing Hands
Manny, the owner of Lombardo’s Pizzeria wrote this message:
I am grateful to each of our loyal customers. Some of you have become family to us, throughout the years. Family that has come to visit from our previous endeavors , following and believing in my product from the very beginning , years ago in Greenpoint.
I have been blessed with many accomplishments in the NYC culinary community. I cannot thank our customers enough for their support from day one, at Lombardo’s of Bay Ridge.
Losing my mom, this year has been very tough. I cherish every moment I had with her . She was always so proud that i owned and operated restaurants, from a young age, for the last 20 years.
Doing so has comes with hours and hours of dedication, away from home. She always told me she wanted me to spend more time with my own family …my beautiful wife and two sons.
Mom, you are right.
With a heavy heart, I am passing the Lombardo’s of BayRidge over to two very passionate foodies, to carry out the same product, everyone is used to.
I will be working with them the next few weeks, to ensure the ingredients and recipe are transitioned. Little Frankie’s will be opening in our place.
There would have never been a Lombardos of Bay Ridge without the amazing support and loyalty of this community…
