Nicole Malliotakis Won The Debate Against Max Rose on CBS With Marcia Kramer
Nicole Malliotakis started out strong and remained strong throughout the debate. Why? Because she has consistently done the work as a Congress representative.
Max Rose began the debate agreeing with things that Nicole Malliotakis said the United States should about immigration. Malliotakis said that more judges need to be hired so that cases can be heard quicker – Rose agreed with her.
We’ve been represented by Rose and Malliotakis. Rose had a chance to do something about immigration when he was in office, he didn’t do anything that I know of. Malliotakis went to the border and showed us what the problem was at the border.
Each week, Malliotakis shares what is being voted on and why she is voting for or against it. It’s obvious that she likes this job as she reads and shares why she will vote against “loaded bills.” (A pack of bills with some social works, but also strange deals.) Rose NEVER told us about these bills.
Nicole Malliotakis said this during the debate:
1) Max Rose was one of Cuomo’s bail reform law supporters.
2) Max Rose supported Bill de Blasio’s plan to close Riker’s Island.
3) Max Rose voted to give gang members amnesty in our country.
4) Max Rose voted to give allow convicted murders and rapists over the age of 50 to be paroled.

In Bay Ridge, we know that Max Rose supported Andrew Gounardes, a champion of bail reform. Rose has never corrected Gounardes publicly.
Why didn’t Max Rose speak out against his buddy Gounardes? Andrew Gounardes voted to gerrymander Brooklyn to change the voting district for Rose. Rose even rented a storefront in Park Slope because they thought they beat the system! The court caught them and changed the maps due to politicial gerrymandering. (See here)
Max Rose’s only redeeming fact during the debate was that he served in the military. While we appreciate Rose’s service, he was not a good Congress representative. Malliotakis is a stronger representative and great at informing the community about what is going on in the government.

As a community minded constituent, I never felt that Max Rose “represented “ me or was committed to the concerns of Staten
Islanders. I always felt like he was an interloper forced upon us.
He and his wife brought their newborn child out into the streets in a protest during Covid … that really caused me to question his decision making! Congresswoman Nicole Malliatakis served us well ( against great opposition) in the NYS Assembly and she works tirelessly for us in Congress! Nicole is close to her constituents and knows our concerns!
