Police Investigated A Situation At The 18th Avenue Feast in Bensonhurst
Around 7:00 pm tonight, it was reported that a man got out of his car and put a gun into a duffel bag on 18th Avenue & Bay Ridge Avenue in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.
The NYPD began investigating by walking around the 18th Avenue Feast talking to Brooklynites asking about the incident.
The street was closed so the police could investigate:
The officer detoured people away from the investigation:
Then they taped off the area so people couldn’t pass.
People held their phones up to record the NYPD and share the video with the community – see videos here.
Did they find the guy?
.
Hugs,
marlene

Are you absolutely serious right now? You smucks can’t tell a paint gun from a real gun. This man is on my paintball team and he was getting back home from one of our meets. This is absolutely ridiculous. He is an asset to our team. I understand there a ban going on. Magfed is a sport. Educate yourself and get in tune to what we do, this is what we do to stay outta the streets. You take this man hobby away just so he can go back to being a menace. The system is designed to fail you. Prove me wrong and fix this!!

Jeremias,
I heard it might have been a paintball gun by the end of the night.
I googled Magfed and I can see why people reported the gun. But hopefully things get sorted out for your friend and he gets his paintball gun back.
