Indian Chief Painted On Building in Bay Ridge

Big Chief, a new smoke shop is opened on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 74th Street.

The front door tells visitors to go to the side door.

This is the front of the store:

They had an Indian chief painted on the side of the building to represent their brand. (Seen here)

The bottom of the painting says, “Please Chief Responsibly.”

On Saturday, some people lined up near the side entrance for the grand opening celebration of their shop. (See video)

What was in this location before? Most recently, it was a corner fruit/grocery store. Before that, it was Neugards for many years.

Will people be more upset about another smoke shop – future cannabis dispensary opening in the area or the use of this symbol?

.

Hugs,
marlene

Grand opening on Saturday drew a line around the blocks with giveaways, rapper AD was there. Odd thing about the business, I think its windowless?

Big Chief is a popular dispensary from the West coast. They at least have 100 stores in California. Think of Big Chief of the Trader Joe’s of dispensaries. Quality products for a great price. I’m glad they are here in Bay Ridge.
