Every article about the best pizza in Brooklyn always listed DiFara Pizzeria at the top of the list for as long as I can remember. You may or may not agree, but he was a Brooklyn King of Pizza!

Dom was 85 years old and his pizzeria was open for 57 years. I met him on a rainy afternoon when I was around 10 years old. I was with my brother and when we walked in Dom said, “Hi Phil.” When we left, I asked my brother how he knew his name. My brother said, “Dom knows everyone who eats at DiFara’s.”
