Conservative Party Blames Brannan for Out-of-District Library Event

The Brooklyn Conservatives tweet is fear-mongering and divisive. And this one.

Councilman Justin Brannan is not the Councilman for the area where the library is located. Fran knows this, so why is she tagging Brannan?

Councilman Brannan’s district is in the dark purple.

The tweet reads: “All people of any preference or stripe can agree.” REALLY?! Maybe someone from another state would write that, but people born in Brooklyn are pretty accepting of others.
If Fran was worried about library funding, why didn’t she contact the library or the Councilman for that area (Alan Maisel). Better yet, why didn’t she research it or actually go and see what it is before tweeting about it.
While the Drag Queen storytime may be a new idea to someone who lives under a rock, it’s been happening all over NYC, including in Bay Ridge since 2017. I’ve never seen it live, but the news has reported the story hour session many times. And the videos are all over Youtube.
If a parent doesn’t want their child to experience the storytime with the Drag Queens, they won’t bring their child during that hour. But any of them that I have seen are well attended.
Fran and the Brooklyn Conservatives should know that many people in Bay Ridge are more concerned with the NYS Conservative Party accepting money from the NRA. The NYS Conservative Party’s office is here in our community. Years ago, Jerry Kassar was adamant about not accepting money from the NRA. Why hasn’t he returned the NRA’s money now that he is the head of the Conservative Party?
Jerry must remember that a Dyker Heights boy took his parent’s gun and shot his sister. Local papers were hush hush, but Bklyner did the story – see here
In February, I wrote about the strange website the Brooklyn Conservative Party had up and there were a lot of new people – see here. Fran’s name and picture wasn’t even on of the site, so maybe that’s the reason for the strange tweet.
Even now, the address on the site is in Manhattan and the phone number belongs to another company. The map points to Australia?! It looks like out of district people are running the site and they wouldn’t know that this library isn’t in Brannan’s district.
Hugs,
marlene

If Fran Vella-Marrone is so concerned about school children welfare why did she use her influence to get her little-experienced husband hired for a supervisory construction job that resulted in the death of a school girl:

The above comment was made while the Councilman was at the Byford meeting so we know it wasn’t him. The link – interesting. https://www.nytimes.com/2000/05/03/nyregion/nepotism-admitted-in-hiring-of-supervisor-at-site-where-brick-killed-girl.html
