El-Yateem Points Out that MTA Flyers were not Translated into Different Languages…..Neither is His Church’s Website
When I first heard of Khader El-Yateem, I went to his church website to see who he was. The church’s out-of-date website has announcements about events from November 2016 and Easter 2016. The only thing translated to Arabic on the site was the word Welcome.
El-Yateem’s church has a survey online, but if you were a new immigrant and you went to the site, you wouldn’t be able to answer the survey unless you knew English. This man wants to be our councilman and tell us he knows all about Arabic people and immigrants, but doesn’t think he owes his community the Arabic translation of his site. SMH.
Khader El-Yateem was outside the station today while Bay Ridge had to go to work. He set up his stand and called for the press like a typical pol. In Sunset Park, when the MTA didn’t come through, the City Council hopeful rented a bus and brought passengers to the next station. El-Yateem was just out to complain that everyone didn’t know about the station being closed because the MTA didn’t translate the information to different languages.
Why didn’t El-Yateem translate and spread the information about the train through the community since he claims he is a community leader?
#WhatBayRidgeDoesn’tNeed another picture taking pol.
