Giving Back in the New Year
Jessica Knows is having a fantastic giveaway for $300 ($150 for you and $150 for a food pantry of your choice).
I loved to win this giveaway particularly because I would love to get some food for The Reaching Out Community Center, a Brooklyn food pantry. I should have done this already, but like many things, it gets left on my list of things to.
So if I win, I’m going to use the whole prize to get food and some pet food too for the food pantry. I have a sixth grade class who I would love to help me shop and deliver the food to the food pantry.

This would be so great for the Household Pantry where we donated toys this Christmas! How i would love to help them again. I’m heading over there now to enter.

Thanks for the heads-up about the giveaway. What a great idea! I read each day about the need for support at our local foodbanks. The need has almost doubled, here. I have rediscovered couponing–and I am couponing on steroids! So, I am able to donate more of the free and almost free items I get as well as money I have saved!
