12:00 – 12:15 – Ritual NYC Heathens – “It will be a brief ceremony noting the springtime, where we will honor our ancestors, the land spirits, and then honor the god Týr – God of justice and assembly – so that he may bless those in attendance with peace and kinship.”

2:00 – 2:15 – NYC Heathens – They will also provide a “Heathenry 101 Workshop”, which will talk about the ancient European pagan beliefs and how it transformed into modern practice through the study of the Eddas and sagas. We will also discuss the different Heathen traditions, elements, and core beliefs in modern practice; including virtues, fate, and (if there’s time) cosmology.”

The Norwegian Parade is on Sunday May 19th at 1:30 beginning at 80th Street and 3rd Avenue and heading north to Leif Ericson Park on 66th Street.
