Stores in Bay Ridge with Hours for Seniors

What grocery stores in Bay Ridge have special hours for older people amid the coronavirus?

1) Foodtown – Seniors Shop at Foodtown From 7:00 – 8:00 am

 

 

 

Foodtown on 3rd Avenue and 91st Street will have Senior Citizen Shopping Hour  EVERY DAY from 7:00 – 8:00 am

 

Foodtown wrote: “To all our customers…..7 am to 8 am will be reserved for SENIOR’S AND THE DISABLED ONLY. If you are not a senior citizen (65 OR OVER), please wait until 8 am to come and shop. This will make it easier for the seniors and disabled during this difficult time. If you are a senior, we request that you do not bring family members unless you need them to help you shop.”

 

 

 

 

2)  Superfresh is open from 6:30 – 7:30 am for Seniors.  242 Bay Ridge Avenue

 

 

 

 

 

3) Walgreens has one hour for seniors to shop – Tuesday from 8 am to 9 am

 

4) Food Dynasty at 1526 – 86th Street has 6:00 – 7:00 am set aside for seniors.

 

 

 

5) Netcost Market 8671- 18th Avenue AND  2339 – 65th Street

 

 

6) Whole Foods on 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue opens at 8:00 am for guest 60 and up.  Regular store hours  9:00 am -9:00 pm

 

 

7) Costco at 976 3rd Avenue opens  for those 60 and up  on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8-9 a.m. No guests will be admitted.

 

 

 

 

 

 

8) Shoprite has early hours for seniors.   

 

 

 

9) Target: Opening each Wednesday to “vulnerable guests,” including the elderly and those with underlying health concerns, an hour early.

 

 

 

 

 

10) Stop and Shop  in Staten Island is open earlier every day “to serve customers who are age 60 and over only.” The special hours were listed as 6-7:30 a.m.
