Soccer Teams for Children in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn
Soccer is a popular sport in Bay Ridge. Registration for some of these programs starts in the Spring, so the coaches could order shirts and uniforms and have them ready for the Fall season.

2) OLPH Soccer – In Sunset Park, but very popular for Bay Ridge players. Affordable.
For Ages: 4-13 Co-ed teams Facebook: here They start in the second week in September. Team assignments are given a few days before the first game.
Play at: Father Tom Joyce Field 312 64th Street in Brooklyn. Nice field with a concession stand.
• Saturday morning sessions for Pre-K/K at 9 am. 1st graders at 10 am (bring #3 ball, cleats or sneakers, shinguards, water and a smile).
• Pee Wee Division for 2-3 grade on Saturdays with games at 11 am, 12 pm and 1 pm.
• Bantam Division for 4-5 grade on Saturday afternoons with some Sunday games.
• Junior Division for 6-8 grades on Sunday afternoon
Registration: Here and here Cost: $120 includes OLPH tee shirt or Jersey depending on division. The registration fees pay for league equipment, field use, field maintenance, insurance, and running/maintaining the field house.

Travel Team: YES. March to June. Half the games will be home (OLPH field) and half away, mainly in Queens. Players are required to attend one practice each week (at OLPH field or at the OLPH Gym located at 552-560 59th Street) and one game, that is played on either Friday evening, Saturday or Sunday. Age groups for the CYO travel teams are organized by grade from 3rd – 8th graders. Signup in March

8) Dyker Heights Knights Indoor soccer
For students in grade 2nd to 8th grade
Play: There are open practices scheduled every Sat for different age groups to work on their skills.
The soccer program starts in late November and runs through March.
This past season up to 220 kids participated in this program.
The soccer program is a very popular program and usually has a waiting list of registrants four months before it starts.

Brooklyn bridge Park League is laid back and has accommodating coaches/volunteers on Saturday mornings 8:00 – 9:00 am
