Summer Program
826NYC – 372 – 5th Avenue 11215 718-499-9884
This has got to be the best hidden secret in Brooklyn! For 2-3 weeks in July, students gather at 826NYC from 2pm to 5pm for screenwriting and filmmaking. With the help of volunteers, students write scripts, build sets, design costumes, and then star in original short films. The films are then screened at BAM Rose Cinemas for families and friends. By lottery – you do have to pay $25 to secure your spot but it is refundable. *FREE*
