Fort Hamilton Army Base is celebrating the Fourth of July with a concert on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 6PM to 11PM (gate is open at 5pm, but the show starts at 6pm) Fireworks will happen when it’s dark. The fireworks display is from a barge off Fort Hamilton 9:45 -10:30 PM so if you don’t get tickets to the concert, you can still see the fireworks.
If you are just interested in fireworks, Coney Island has fireworks at 9:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m. at West 10th Street (in Coney Island Beach & Boardwalk)
In case of inclement weather, the concert at the Fort Hamilton Army Base will take place on Saturday, July 2 at 10:45 PM. (NYC confirmed the 10:45 PM start time for fireworks) Fort Hamilton SGT Deon Taylor Field 101st Street & Fort Hamilton Pkwy Brooklyn, NY 11209
The event is open to everyone! Go enjoy the music, rides and games! Although the event is free, you have to register for the event here – you have to print the tickets to get into the show.
American Idol’s Fantasia is performing. Opening performances by Jean Dubreus, Stephanie Petronelli, Zavvezo, Mikey Jay, Mile Zero, and Titanium. Hosted by Shar Jackson.
