1) The Bookmark Shoppe is on 3rd Ave between 84th and 85th. They have a fantastic boom selection and visiting authors. They do knitting and other events with kids – check the events calendar 10 AM to 7 PM Weeknights – earlier on weekends (check store hours here)
2) Boulevard Bookstore 7518 13th Avenue (718) 680-5881 Open at 10:30 AM and close at 7:30 (Except Friday and Saturday, they close at 6:00 pm)
3) Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Park Slope is big – 2 floors – 267 7th Ave (718) 832-9066 Open 9 AM to 10 PM everyday
