Giveaway – Knot heads & Amazon Gift Certificate
It’s bloggy giveaway time!! This is a very cool giveaway for a new product called Knot heads.
Knot heads are used to fasten hair into cool styles. They are a replacement to rubber bands, bobby pins and barrettes. They don’t tear at your hair which is fantastic.
Knot heads come in two sizes – 25″ long (green package below) and a smaller 4 inch size (blue package below) to use if you want to pull back less hair.
To enter this giveway, browse the hairstyles at Knot heads and then come back here and tell us which one you would do with knot heads. One winner will win their choice of one.
Bonus: $10 Amazon e-card is sent to the lucky winners e-mail.
Be sure to leave an e-mail address below so you can be contacted when you win!

I have seen something like this before.. they are fantastic. I think the largers ones would work best for my waist lenth hair ;) I like the Claw hair style it looks really fun and easy to do.
July 28th, 2008 at 12:04 am
I like the perfect pony! Although I doubt it would be more than a tangle in my mop hair.
July 28th, 2008 at 12:12 am
I have very long hair, & this looks very interesting. I would probably try the Claw style first, but they all look like fun!
July 28th, 2008 at 12:14 am

OMG I need this!! I have a lot of thick curly hair, and NOTHING can hold it back in style!! I’ve been through every barette, clip, headband, ponytail holder and nothing does it just right! I’d do the “Perfect Ponytail”. My ponytails drive me crazy all day and I keep trying to pull them higher.
July 28th, 2008 at 3:09 am
My hair is too short for these babies, but I am thinking I might try them in my daughters hair. I can’t ever seem to get her ponytails right.
July 28th, 2008 at 3:20 am
Buns of Steel would be my first choice, classic style. However, it would be fun to try all of these styles…maybe experiment with something new and creative. Thank you! :-)

July 28th, 2008 at 5:38 pm
My daughter is the one who loves to do special hairstyles and I could see her making good use of these. If it were me, I would likely just use them to do a simple ponytail.

perfect pony
THANK YOU GOD BLESS
July 28th, 2008 at 5:57 pm
I’ve had long hair for as long as I can remember, and I’ve tried and tried to get a decent bun that wouldn’t fall apart. It looks like Buns of Steel made with Knot Heads is just what I’ve been searching for. Thanks for the giveaway!

I’d love to attempt the buns of steel. So elegant.
July 28th, 2008 at 7:52 pm
I would use it as a barrette I think, I’m just growing my hair out, and those pesky pieces of bangs just aren’t long enough for the other hair, and keep falling out of my hair clips! thanks for the chance.
July 28th, 2008 at 2:56 pm
I saw these the other day and they greatly intrigue me. I would try the haute bun in my hair. Thanks for the great giveaway!

July 28th, 2008 at 3:50 pm
Hello!
It is a toss up for me — Buns of Steel, or Haute Bun.
I have never seen this product before. My hair is extremely long and I look for this sort of gadget to put it up. I could use something like a Knot Head! Would make my life easier and I would look so elegant!
Thanks!
July 28th, 2008 at 8:52 pm
The perfect pony would help me tremendously!
July 28th, 2008 at 8:53 pm
My daughter has really long hair, so these would be perfect! I love the perfect pony one. The Amazon GC would be just for me!

July 28th, 2008 at 4:46 pm
Knot a Braid would be adorable on my friend’s 12-year-old daughter. If I win, she will be getting these for her birthday! :)
July 28th, 2008 at 10:16 pm
I am totally unimaginative when it comes to doing my own hair. I would love to give these a try. Most likely I would end up making the “perfect pony” …but the other styles are really cool.

Oh my goodness! Thank you for telling us about this site. My daughter will FLIP for these! She’s 11 and is just starting to want to do things with her hair and this would be PERFECT for her!!!!!
I love the ones that are sort of like buns. I don’t know the technical name but those are nice and great for the summer.
Thanks so much!!!
July 28th, 2008 at 5:33 pm
Buns of steel! These are so neat. I’m terrible with hair, so I’m always looking for something I can do easily that isn’t just a ponytail. Thanks for the chance to win!
July 28th, 2008 at 10:34 pm
I like buns of steel, but I’m more likely to do the Perfect Pony. I live in pony tails (a job safety thing.)
July 28th, 2008 at 10:37 pm
Buns of steel is what my 10 yr old really wants to try with this.
July 28th, 2008 at 10:39 pm
I like knot a braid.
July 28th, 2008 at 5:45 pm
I love the “Whoop De Up Do” design! Not sure if I have the manual dexterity to make it all work, but this product looks like it would be helpful.
Great idea for a giveaway!
July 28th, 2008 at 5:45 pm
I like the perfect pony!
July 28th, 2008 at 5:55 pm
I guess I’d be doing the buns until I figured it all out, lol. But I do like most of the hairstyles.
July 28th, 2008 at 6:05 pm
OH THIS IS A GREAT GIVEAWAY! I love the perfect pony! Thanks for the chance to win!! :o)
July 28th, 2008 at 11:07 pm
I like the perfect pony!
July 28th, 2008 at 11:10 pm
Knot Heads are a neat idea! I have very long layered hair and I do love to experiment with different styles, especially in the warm weather, I just want it away from my face and off of my back! My hair go down to the middle of my back so I would opt for the longer knot heads in a color close to my own hair color. I would experiment, play, and create different types of buns and curly ques, to see what looked unique and eye catching on me! These are fun hair accessories and are meant to be tools in creating unusual and fun looks for your hair, gotta love it! Thank you for offering this great giveaway!
July 28th, 2008 at 11:13 pm
I like the knot a braid
July 28th, 2008 at 11:27 pm
I would do Buns Of Steel.
July 28th, 2008 at 6:30 pm
Being that my hair is ont the short side, I’d definitely use these as the perfect barrette. It’s be nice to be able to pull my hair away from my face once in a while.
July 28th, 2008 at 11:38 pm
I like the perfect pony
July 29th, 2008 at 12:15 am
This is so crazy! I’ve never seen this before. I love the style shown in your photo. Something like that would be perfect for all the colorguard shows I did in highschool where they told us to be creative with out hair. There is only so much to be done with rubberbands and hairspray. I like the buns of steel because it’s so simple and pretty.
July 29th, 2008 at 12:15 am
I like the Brown Eyed Girl :)

July 29th, 2008 at 12:36 am
i like perfect pony.
July 29th, 2008 at 12:45 am
I would have to try a really simply style at first, until I got used to them. If not, I might have to have them surgically removed from my very curly hair!!
July 28th, 2008 at 7:51 pm
Those are really cool. I have curly hair, so I would probably do the headband or pony tail so I could make sure to get it out!! :) Very cool idea!
July 29th, 2008 at 12:59 am
I’d try either the Haute Buns or the Buns of Steel.
July 28th, 2008 at 8:05 pm
The style shown in the picture here on your blog is actually my FAVORITE. I’d love to do that with my hair, but from the site, the ‘knot a braid’ is my favorite. :)

Perfect Pony. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anything like these before. Wow, they are really cool. One of my daughters has hair like me, pretty thin. My other daughter has some of the thickest hair you’ve ever seen. Truly it takes hours to air dry after a shower.
July 29th, 2008 at 2:08 am
I would do the three pony tails on one side / one on the other for my daughter.
July 28th, 2008 at 9:14 pm

My 5 year old is desperate to have a bun, so Buns of Steel for us!
July 28th, 2008 at 10:01 pm
The Claw, Buns of Steel, and Perfect Ponytail are ones I could do.
July 28th, 2008 at 10:07 pm
Lovely knots! Thank you. :)
July 28th, 2008 at 10:08 pm
Hmmm…I’m pretty low maintanence most of the time, so I’d probably use them for the perfect pony…though I might try a fun updo for my BILs wedding next summer! What a neat product! Thanks for the giveaway!
July 29th, 2008 at 3:41 am
I’ve been wanting to try these! They look like a lot of fun! I’m a pony-tail kind of girl so I would have to try the “perfect pony.” thanks, kristen
ryankristenwilson@msn.com
July 29th, 2008 at 3:47 am
I’ve never seen anything like this! I love them, so versatile and cute! I think I’d like to try the hair bands, but the perfect pony and the cool barette would be fun to try too!
July 29th, 2008 at 4:07 am
Wow, what a great idea! Thanks for the great giveaway!
July 29th, 2008 at 4:10 am
I was just at the knothead site earlier today or was it yesterday? Well anyways. These are amazing looking. My favorite hairstyle was the fourth of july star on top of the little girls head made from her hair wrapped around the knotheads. I actually think it was a style on their blog not their purchasing website.
July 28th, 2008 at 11:11 pm
The Buns of Steel looks like a great one for a busy mom who needs to keep her hair out of the way!
Thanks for hosting this cool giveaway!

July 29th, 2008 at 4:28 am
I love the buns of steel hair-do! Thanks for the giveaway!
July 29th, 2008 at 4:30 am
I would do Haute Buns. Thanks for the contest!
July 28th, 2008 at 11:48 pm
Love the “Claw” one the best. I would have to use the long one as I have long hair. I like to wear my hair up a lot and this product would be great!
July 29th, 2008 at 12:08 am
I LOVE the Haute Bun. I’ve been wanting these for about a year now. I always wear my hair up in a clip & this would really give me something different to do.
July 29th, 2008 at 12:59 am
My hair is pretty short right now, so I’d try the better barette, and maybe the whoop de up do if I feel brave!
July 29th, 2008 at 1:04 am
Cute! Perfect Pony!
July 29th, 2008 at 6:17 am
LOVE “buns of steel”…it just cracks me up!
What I’d actually do with it is play with my daughters’ hair…they love to “do hair” and we’re always looking for fun new ways to do it!
July 29th, 2008 at 1:19 am
I wear my hair up almost every day to work and would love to not have to deal with bobby pins every day!
July 29th, 2008 at 6:28 am
My hair is short – really short as in 3 inches short. And very thin as well as fine. So the knot heads would go to my daughter-in-law. the style she would like the most is most likely – Knot a braid. Very lovely.
Thank you
July 29th, 2008 at 1:51 am
I would love this!
July 29th, 2008 at 7:00 am
That’s it; I’m definitely putting your blog on my favorites. Hope that’s ok.
My hair is too short for any kind of twisty thing, but my Cowgirl would surely love this! Her hair is just past her shoulders. Is that short or long?
Stop confusing me. :-)
July 29th, 2008 at 7:30 am
My favorite would be the perfect pony but I wouldn’t mind trying all the styles. Thanks for entering me!
July 29th, 2008 at 2:38 am
I think I like the Whoop de Up!!
July 29th, 2008 at 7:39 am
The perfect pony, for sure! I have yet to perfect my pony. (sigh)
July 29th, 2008 at 2:47 am
I would love to have some Haute Buns if I could figure out how to do that, LOL;)
July 29th, 2008 at 2:52 am
I’ve been wanting some of these! My favorite hair style is Knot a Braid
July 29th, 2008 at 7:58 am
never heard about them before but im liking what you can do with them
July 29th, 2008 at 3:25 am
Buns of Steel or Haute Buns to jazz up my hair. I am tired of plain ole pony tails.
July 29th, 2008 at 3:29 am
Sorry I would have to give the knot heads away, but I’m all for some Amazon! I have very little hair.
July 29th, 2008 at 4:02 am
I’d do the Buns of Steel – they look like such a fun hair accessory!!!
July 29th, 2008 at 9:09 am
I would mostly just do the simple pony to keep my hair from my lo and for work cant have anything to fancy.
July 29th, 2008 at 4:36 am
I would love to try Buns of Steel on my hair! Anything different than a regular bun would be nice, but my hair is so long it’s hard to do fun things with it!
July 29th, 2008 at 4:43 am
I would do the buns of steel..very pretty!!
July 29th, 2008 at 5:29 am
The Perfect Pony because my hair always comes loose and looks sloppy. Thanks!
July 29th, 2008 at 6:39 am
Probably the simple ponytail though I might try to get more creative if I had some help. I’ve just never been good at doing hair and usually use elastics. Would love to try this.
July 29th, 2008 at 12:21 pm
The “perfect pony” looks purrfect!
July 29th, 2008 at 1:08 pm
I wear a bun almost everyday anyway, the buns of steel looks more secure & prettier than my current claw clip approach LOL.
July 29th, 2008 at 1:36 pm
I think I’d try perfect pony. I saw these one before and they look really interesting.

July 29th, 2008 at 1:50 pm
I’d love to use Knotheads as a headband or to do a perfect pony. They are so cute!
July 29th, 2008 at 1:52 pm
I love the whoop de up do! I think the better barrett and bands that rock would be great on my daughter. Thanks for the giveaway and for stopping by my blog.
July 29th, 2008 at 2:06 pm
Love those Haute Buns!
July 29th, 2008 at 2:06 pm
I know it’s boring, but I ma such a ponytail girl!
July 29th, 2008 at 2:25 pm
Great giveaway! These are cool. I really like the Haute Buns hairstyle. :)
July 29th, 2008 at 2:31 pm
Well if my hair was longer I would do the buns of steel – that is so pretty. But it is not that long and I don’t have the patience to grow it like that so I will stick with the fabulous better barrett!
July 29th, 2008 at 2:32 pm
I like the haute buns (lol as I type this!).
July 29th, 2008 at 2:38 pm
I would love these to use on my daughter. We like to put her hair in braids, pony tails, and buns…this would make it so much easier!
July 29th, 2008 at 2:55 pm
i’ve never seen anything like this before..looks really cool :)Great giveaway! I’m feeling lucky!! :)
July 29th, 2008 at 3:06 pm

Thank you for the giveaway.
PS. I absolutely love your blogger picture with the blowing bubbles. How did you do that? It’s the best one I’ve ever seen!
July 29th, 2008 at 3:30 pm
My hair is super short, so I’d use these on my daughter (if you’ve ever seen Crush on American Gladiator, her do looks like that) and we’d be doing the pigtails or the barrette replacement.
Thanks!
Angie
July 29th, 2008 at 3:52 pm

July 29th, 2008 at 4:31 pm
I’d prefer the long ones, I think. I like the Buns of Steel style and of course I’d try a pony-tail, and maybe some of the other styles.
July 29th, 2008 at 5:15 pm
wow great I would like to try the Whoop de Up Do for my daughters kinky curly hair
July 29th, 2008 at 5:18 pm
I have very long thick hair and can’t ever decide what to do with it. This looks like it could be for me. Thanks!
July 29th, 2008 at 5:32 pm
There’s so much you CAN do with them. I would use them for pony tails and headbands to start with.
July 29th, 2008 at 5:59 pm
Oh I’d love this, or at least love to try it. My hair is extremely thick so hair bands never work. Please enter me.
July 29th, 2008 at 12:59 pm
I have short hair so I would do the bands that rock, can’t do too much knotting with my hair length but the head band sure would be snazzy in my hair!
tpatton5 at gmail dot com
July 29th, 2008 at 6:01 pm
I would love to try “The Claw!” It sounds so menacing! Thanks!
July 29th, 2008 at 1:10 pm
My 11yodd has beautiful long hair, but because I AM the least talented hair stylist on the face of the planet, the best (and safest) thing I could do is give her the Perfect Pony style. :)

I would do the Perfect Pony—sort of boring, but cuter than a normal holder and better for my hair-sweet.
July 29th, 2008 at 8:07 pm
My daughter rides horses and a pony tail or a braid of sorts would keep her hair out of her eyes and her somewhat cool in this heat!
July 29th, 2008 at 3:35 pm
I think I’d try to do some kind of French Twist, I can never make those look just right.

Holy-moley, roly-poly! This is amazing! I think the Better barettes are cute, but I think the longer ones would be best for my hairstyle! irrelevantheart AT gmail DOT com! Thank you!

I’m loving Buns of Steel for evenings out for that anniversary dinner, and although there is no name for another do on the website there is a headshot of the do that consists of creating a tress of many strands of hair that form a diamond pattern as the strands alternate with each other. My words don’t do the pattern justice…but it is very elegant and would have people turning heads just to see how you did it. Great product…love the variety of colors.

Haute Buns would be my choice, but I like the picture posted here more than on the Knot Heads website. Good luck all.
