Thankful Thursday

    Today I am thankful for:

  • Summer – teachers love summer
  • Being alive – I forget how important this is
  • Good friends – I’m glad they are doing well
  • Pets who couldn’t be more loyal
  • An organized home
  • A God who constantly checks on me

Cheryl at Hope for Each Day wrote about staying strong in faith even when we bad things happen. I think this makes all of the difference during hard times.

1 THESSALONIANS 5:18 CEV ~ “Whatever happens, keep thanking God because of Jesus Christ. This is what God wants you to do.”

Hugs,
marlene

I’m thankful that you told me about the Ning website!!! I think it would be perfect. I told my friend at work about it (a fellow teacher) and she thought it would be a great idea!! And I think that the kids would really get into it!!

    Marlene,

I was quite surprised when I came to visit you today that my name and blog site would be here. How sweet!

I’m late getting around today, but wanted to visit.

Thank you for your comment you left on my blog. Since “life” has been rather difficult lately, I’ve made the choice to find all the good. I still have so much to be thankful for.

    Have a great weekend!

I love the pic. of the blowing bubbles.

When you said that teachers love summer…oh it reminds me of my mother. She used to be a teacher and trues, she indeed loves summer. She used to make plans on summer activities for us her children.

You have a meaningful list. And yes, it’s so great to be alive.

If birds eat uncooked rice, can it swell up in their throats and stomachs and kill them ?
