Free Works for Me
Unclaimed funds are listed online by state. When I looked the site a few months ago, my Mom said that neither she, nor my Dad would be on there because they manage money well. Well today, I happen to look on there again because a friend said they had trouble at their bank. My friend’s account went into the Unclaimed Funds account because she hadn’t used the account in a year. After I searched for my friend, I searched our family’s name and sure enough……my parents were on there!
SO YOU MAY HAVE MONEY THAT YOU DON’T KNOW ABOUT AS WELL! If you are in NY, you can search here. If you are in any other state, you can check through this site for your unclaimed funds.unclaimed_property.htm Unclaimed funds could be any money that you overpaid on a bill or money that you didn’t pick up from insurance, a bank account or even money someone left you. Found money always works for me! While you are there search for family and friends because people love to make other people dinner when you find them money. I’ve had friends find from $36 – $800. My students have found $57 – $2000+ for their family and neighbors. In this economy some people could really use some good news now.
Good luck! This is part of Works for me Wednesday by Shannon at Rocks in My Dryer. Just in case you don’t find any money, here are some sites with freebies:
Every Wednesday, Hanes has Wedgie-free Wednesday and gives out 500 pairs of free undies. (it’s the last choice on the top right) Who would have thought you could get free underwear?
Free Sample of Men’s Degree Deodorant(click on the deodorant for the form to come up)
Greenies Pill Pockets – to hide pills for cats or dogs (they love them)
Clorox 2 for Colors – new detergent I want to try
Hugs,
marlene

Great idea – and who would have thought there could be free underwear in your future? :)
Thanks for visiting my blog. My husband says the water bottles are Camelbak Tritan .5 litre bottles. Not sure where he got his but he had sent me this picture a while back.

I found $2 from 11 years ago. hah! I decided to pass on it ’cause I got nervous about giving my social security number – silly, I know. But the utilities company can keep the change, I guess.
I went to look up my dad – deceased – in the state of Louisiana, but you have to call their office. will do so.
