Urban Modesty Owner Lives in Bay Ridge
The local paper featured an inspiring story about a Muslim woman named Sherihan Moustafa who created her own clothing line called Urban Modesty. Moustafa said she created the line because she was frustrated with trying to put together a fashionable and modest outfirt from various pieces. Urban Modesty has dresses in a lot of different patterns that most Muslims don’t wear. The materials used for the hijabs and dresses is modern and feminine. The gowns that women wear to weddings and for special occasions are not only beautiful, but also affordable.
