Winter Break Camps in Bay Ridge or Brooklyn 2019

 

Winter Camp in Bay Ridge

 

 

1) Bay Ridge Sports Camp at OLA  – 337 74th Street – this is for children who love sports 4-16 years old. 9;00 am – 3:00 pm.  $225 for the week. Baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, bowling, arts and crafts. Movies and ice skating.  Call Steve:  718-745-7776

3) Super League Athletic Camp at DGK School 8502 Ridge Blvd. 2/18 – 2/22 – $235. Daily rate: $50

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4) Kidz Cooking Studio 7921 – 7th Avenue – 2 day camp $150

 

 

 

5) Green Apron Winter Cooking Camp  $500 for the week or $110 a day

 

 

February Break Camp, 2/19-2/23

 

 

Green Apron Camp is at 7122 Bay Parkway. For children 5+

Drop off between 9 and 9:30 am. Pick up – 3:30 pm
Late pick up and early drop off available.  Please contact us for pricing.

You can register for individual days at $110 per day or for a full 5-day camp for $500.   Each day is a new culinary adventure.  Kids will make their own Breakfast, Lunch and Snack completely from scratch! But cooking is only part of the fun, children play board games, trivia games, dancing competitions and sing karaoke, all while making new friends.

8) Textile Arts Center Camp  505 Carroll Street

Drop off: 9AM    Pick up: 5PM   Please supply your child with lunch and snack.  $135 a day

9) Prospect Gymnastics. $350 for the week a day 8:45 am – 12:30 pm (aftercare available $20 a day) Gymnastics and acrobatics training alongside hip hop dance and arts-n-crafts projects. Campers ages 5-8  will work every morning on gymnastics skills such as handstands & cartwheels as well as acrobatics such as partner tumbling and headstands.

 

 

 

10) Park Slope Day Camp– 339 – 8th Street 8:00 – 4:00 pm $110   Extended Day Available to 6:30 pm – $30 more

 

 

11) Carmello the Science Fellow Science Camp – 300 Atlantic Avenue – $500 for the Week. Extended Day Available for $25 more a day 

 

 

12) Brooklyn Robot Foundry303 3rd Avenue 347-762-6840   $125 + Materials fee. Kindergarten to 4th grade.

 

 

13) Sprout Winter Break Camp – Columbia Street in Redhook

 

 

 

14) Shorefront YMCA February MiniCamp –  February 18th – 22rd. Contact ASP@shorefronty.org or 718-646-1444 ext. 335 for more information.   Last year it was $85 a day (or $400 for 5 days) plus extended day: $15 each day

 

 

15) Aviator Camp718-758-7518 or  camps@aviatorsports.com  For ages 3-14  $75 a day   Aviator has a lot of activities – ice skating, gymnastics, arts and crafts, climbing, basketball, soccer and movies as well. Lunch and snack included.

 

 

16) Brooklyn Acting Lab – $125 a day

 

17) BAX Arts Program– Brooklyn Arts Exchange – 421 Fifth Avenue in Park Slope. For children ages 5-11. $95 a day. Extended care available. 

 

18) Mark Morris Dance Camp 3 Lafayette Avenue Brooklyn 11217.  Dance and movement camp for children 6-13 years old (older children need to have some prior dance class experience). $325 for the week. Feb 18 – 22nd . 9:30 am – 3:00 pm. Extended Day available for 3-5 pm $100 more for the week.  718-624-8400

 

19) The Brooklyn Strategist 333 Court Street. Full day camp from 9 am – 4 pm for $140  and Half day camp as well for $75. Early drop off at 8:30 am for $8 a day or extended day from, 4 pm – 6 pm.  Kids will have a blast learning new games (strategy games, D&D, War hammer, MT) and playing old favorites and even designing new ones.  Lunch and snacks are included. 

 

20) Geek Forest in Williamsburg for children 6-12 years old Makerspace Camp. Feb 18-22 – $500.  Individual Day $120. Late pickup up to 6 pm $150 for the week.   

 

 

21) Brooklyn Game Lab  – two locations – one for little kids (310 – 7th Avenue) and the other for big kids (479 – 7th Avenue). Play games all day – chess, strategy games and cooperatives games. Children also play outside. 

  • $540/5 days;   $150/1 day

 

 

 

 

Manhattan – this may work if you work near Warren Street.  Manhattan Youth Center– For children in K-5.   $115 per day
