Verrazzano Bridge Jumper on December 20, 2019

A 34-year-old man jumped from the Verrazzano Bridge on Friday, December 20th right before 2:00 pm. Story here This is the third person to jump from the bridge in a few weeks.
He was on the upper-level of the bridge and jumped from the Brooklyn side. See here
He was recovered from the water, given CPR and brought to a hospital in Staten Island. He probably won’t make it as only three people have survived a jump from the Verrazzano Bridge – see here. Sadly, it was cold today, but the sky was beautiful :( See here
This is a hard time of the year for many people.
Prayers for the man’s family and friends who are receiving the news right before the holidays.
