    Summer Jobs for Teens in Brooklyn 2018




    1)  Work at Fort Hamilton Army Base – they hire teens 14-17 years old and there is a new job here (written about online on 4/30/18 so it is still open)


    2)  Server job at Pizzeria Uno on 92nd Street and Fourth Avenue.


    3) Work at McDonald’s on 3rd Avenue and 71st Street


    4)  Work at Dunkin Donuts – 8702 – 4th Avenue 


    5) Barista at Starbucks on 3rd Avenue and 75th Street


    6) Also Barista at the other Starbucks


    7) Internships at Prospect Park Zoo or the Aquarium in Coney Island


    8) Construction Kids Camp – Clean up and set up the camp each day


    9) Barista at the Park Slope Starbucks


    10) Paid Internship at the Brooklyn Museum


    11) Lifeguard at Aviator 


    12) Summer Camp Counselor – even mention of position for 14 and 15 year olds as Counselors in training.


    13) JCH Camp Counselor Assistant Counselors/Junior Assistant Counselors: 15-17 years old (entering 11th-12th grade   AND   Counselor-in-Training: 14-15 years old (entering 10th grade) 


    14)  Starbucks on Flatbush Avenue is looking for a barista.

    The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) provides New York City youth between the ages of 14 and 24 with paid summer employment for up to six weeks in July and August.  SYEP Application Deadline WAS March 16th, 2018.

    Many teens in our are worked with elementary school children in NYC Summer school programs in the area. They hire 14 and 15 year olds for this job. Participants are selected by lottery for the program.


    20-25 hours per week. $13.00 an hour
