People Enjoying 86th Street Memories
I remember a time when 86th Street in Bensonhurst was lined with people sitting in chairs in the street. On the weekend, old and new cars were cruise up and around the street. People (mostly guidos) were talking loud, cheering, smoking and dancing to music (house or disco) in the middle of the two-way traffic.
When I returned a few years later, (when I could drive), that tradition had ended.
