Olphine is Alive!
Olphine, the child I sponsor in Haiti is alive. Her family lived right near Port-a-Prince, Haiti and her home was destroyed. But I am so grateful she and her family are alive. Although I have never met Olphine, I know one day I will.
I could go on and on about how great the Compassion organization is, but the simple truth is that no matter how bad my day is, looking at her picture always makes me smile.
My heart’s been heavy this week for reasons which some of you know. God will take care of the situation, but at times it can get to me. Hearing that Olphine’s alive made me realize that I have so much to be grateful for and life will take care of itself without me thinking or stressing about it.
