Nicole Malliotakis Starts Pandering – It’s an Election Year

We haven’t heard Nicole Malliotakis say or do much of anything this year. Remember, Malliotakis was running for Mayor and didn’t even have any  messages for Community Board 10 for most of the year.

Now Malliotakis is starting to talk about transportation. Yet, Nicole Malliotakis KNOWS that Senator Marty Golden sits on the Capital Review Board and she hasn’t done anything to help the transportation problem in Bay Ridge.

On Saturday, May 19th,Nicole Malliotakis tweeted the MTA. She has to know that the MTA doesn’t have anyone working on social media on Saturday. Someone on Nicole’s staff also tweeted about the train on Saturday.   Don’t these pols know how to use social media yet?

It’s pretty sad that a politician thinks a tweet is going to get things done? THIS IS WHY MALLIOTAKIS DOESN’T GET THINGS DONE.

Now the Assemblywoman wants us to believe she cares about transportation. She’s having a meeting in Staten Island, but she didn’t ask Senator Golden to be a speaker. Malliotakis seems to leave Golden out of the equation all of the time – Is she afraid to question him about his role on the MTA Capital Review Board?

Bay Ridge won’t get a meeting on transportation because Malliotakis and Golden failed to get the Verrazano bridge toll lowered. They collected names through an electronic petition (TWICE) and stood at the entrance to take pictures with the bridge in the background. They played politics and released press releases to show the pictures AND THAT WAS IT.  No legislation or meetings or anything happened after that.

Why hasn’t Nicole Malliotakis done anything besides make online petitions?  Nicole was busy running for Mayor and before that she was running Marco Rubio’s campaign against Donald Trump. You can’t expect her to run for mayor and be present as an assemblywoman…..just because you do so many things, doesn’t mean she can.

During the Mayoral Election, the news showed that Assemblywoman Malliotakis was a political flip-flop and she had strained relationships with colleagues.  Mostly, we saw Malliotakis with a few volunteers and people she hired. Elections are a good time to make a lot of money….I guess I’ll have to talk about that soon.

Hugs,
marlene
