New Church on Fifth Avenue and 80th Street
A new church opened on the corner of 81st Street and 5th Avenue.
The sign reads: “Iglesias de Evangelizacion Misioneras Jovenes Cristianos,” which translates to: The Church of Evangelical Missionaries. Young Christians.
This church is also in Coney Island.
This is a Protestant/Christian Church with a Spanish-speaking congregation. Evangelical means they teach the Gospel and spread the Word.
While it may not be your church, mosque or synagogue, a new place of worship is always welcome! More discussions on the Bible or about God is great.
This church is occupying the storefront formerly held by a Bay Ridge Classic, Milk Farm corner store.
