The original sign for the event was made by someone who doesn’t know how to throw a party and doesn’t want everyone to attend.
This isn’t just a case of bad design – this is a case of people using a NYPD event to advertise other people, groups and politicians.
The 68th Precinct didn’t even put the event logo. I couldn’t find a precinct in NYC that didn’t use the logo.
If it’s an event for the community, then make the sign simple so they know they are invited. Leave out the pols and all of those logos – why? Because they don’t matter.
People matter.
Put the sign in other languages…..because so many people are being left out.
