Morris Discount in Bay Ridge is Closing

Morris Discount 9223 3rd Avenue is the type of store you could run in and get just about anything. The owner always had a big smile and was helpful. I am sorry to hear they are closing the business. 

Morris Discount is selling out their stores -there’s a lot of household cleaners and shampoos there. Best of luck to the owners who were amazing to us.

* Update: Navarro’s Hardware was across the street from Morris’ – they quickly rented this spot and have a larger hardware store now.

   Is there any chance that Morris Discount could reopen in Bay Ridge? That’s what happened with the D&D store that was on 5th Av and 86 St which became a CHASE Bank Site. It took a while but D&D reopened on 4th Av and 87 St and is now remodeling and growing.
