The NY Islanders Hockey Team Partner Up For Free Skate Program – Ages 5-8 Girls and Boys
Although the program says it is FREE, there is actually a $150 materials fee which includes the 6 on ice sessions, jersey, helmet, ice skates, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, pants, shin pads, socks, bag and stick.
The NY Islanders Association will be running a six week program for children (boys and girls) ages 5-8. It meets on Saturdays – September 16, 23, 30, October 7. 14 and 21. They will be using Abe Stark Ice Arena in Coney Island which is next to MCU Park. You can register here. After the six week program, there is a team your child can join for the season if they like it (but it cost more $) Limited space so register soon.
