Happy Thanksgiving Bay Ridge!
I am always thankful for my neighbors in Bay Ridge. I’m thankful for the kindness that has been extended to me by the people on my block and this community. I’m thankful for the people who go above and beyond to help children, senior citizens, veterans and animals. They quietly do these acts because they know it’s the right thing to do. You make Bay Ridge feel like Bay Ridge.
At the end of every day, I say aloud what I am thankful for – even if I am tired or don’t want to.
Being thankful reminds you of all you have. So even when the government has their hand in your pocket and your local pol is too afraid to do anything, you still have a lot to be thankful for as you are being robbed. (In Brooklyn, we aren’t fake – not even on Thanksgiving – LOL)
