Fabulous Finds Friday

Happy Friday! I’m linking up with Elizabeth at Fun in Room 4B Blog because last week she shared her circle cutter as a Fabulous Find and I bought it.  It  is fabulous. You can see it here.

I love owls and this year it will be the room’s theme. I’ve had this little owl in the front of my room for years:


A lot of teachers write and ask me about the owl vinyl decal because they search for owl classroom in google and it’s the first picture they find. The owl actually was purchased to cover a whole in the wall (look to the right side of his eye and you can see a little bit of paint chipping there. I got him from the Scribble iT Etsy Shop.

I wanted owls and soft colors to keep the room calm for my middle schoolers. I found some awesome items with owls made by a company called Renewing Minds and sold at  Mardel. Mardel is having a 20% off sale this week (no code needed – prices marked).

I got these cute owl folders (12 for $5.00)

So the Mardel store online would be my Fabulous Find this week. I saw they also have other themes that I know many teachers have this year – stars and zebra print.

I am not in any way affiliated with Mardel. This was the first time I saw & shopped on their site. It is a Christian Education store. BTW, Mardel ships very fast and I was so excited to get my items so quickly.

    I am doing owls and wanted some calmer colors as well. I haven’t seen these in any of the stores. Thanks for posting this.

    Thanks for sharing the great finds at Mardel. I got lots of cute zebra and cheetah things for my jungle theme classroom and all at great prices.

    Mardel is new to me too and it’s great because they have sock monkey stuff which is my theme for this years.
