Expresso Pizza – I love you!
Brooklyn is known for great pizza. And many places will have you believe that they are “the original Brooklyn pizza.” Even Dominoes has tried to duplicate the Brooklyn pizza. Some pizza joints have even gotten outrageous and started charging $5 a slice or $30 a pie…..it’s bread, cheese and sauce..Crazy!But few places actually have done it. In fact, I’ve tried so many places just to recreate my childhood pizza.Expresso Pizza is this small pizza shop located at 9403 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge (718) 833-8750. The pizza here is like the pizza we ate as kids. The slices are delicious, the squares are even better. The owner is super nice too. Other people agree with me too.Of course, I also love that Roccos Pizza delivers super fast & I still love to sit outside of L&B Spumoni Gardens in the summer. But it’s Sunday night and I ordered Expresso pizza and it’s so good. Even the Lord would agree with me that Expresso Pizza is the best pizza.

I was never a kid in Brooklyn, merely a college student on vacation, but as a pizza EXPERT, I LOVED Brooklyn Pizza when I was there oh 15 years ago (did I say that out loud).
Any chance I can get you to Fed-Ex a pie over here? LOL

I love pizza but I haven’t tried Brooklyn pizza. I know you are thinking of attending BlogHer 2010 so maybe you will lead an outing so we can try pizza in your neck of the woods.
