Eight Shots Fired 78th and 5th Avenue

Sometimes people think they hear gunshots, but it is really just a car backfiring.

Update: 10/22: Not this time though.

Eight gun shots were fired.

Mathylde Frontus was the only politician who spoke about the shooting. Strangely, Councilman Brannan and Senator Gounardes don’t have anything to say about this.

Assemblywoman Frontus wrote: “Earlier this morning shots were fired towards three businesses on 5th Avenue and 78th Street in Bay Ridge. Although this incident occurred one block away from my district, I want to condemn this and all shootings taking place here in Southern Brooklyn and across our city. There is not much information available at this time regarding the motivation for these shots fired but the 68th precinct is actively investigating.”

Last night before midnight, there was a shooting incident on 78th and 5th Avenue.

Hopefully, its people with poor aim and no one was around in the area.  A police car and ambulance are in the video.  See here
