Bill Colton – Playing Politics Instead of Helping His Area

For years Assemblyman Bill Colton has been posing for pictures and telling Brooklyn that he is getting rid of the dump. And the dump remains. WHY? Because Colton loves using his time to play politics. This week, Bill Colton is pushing his staffer to run for Vincent Gentile’s position in Bay Ridge – yes, in Bay Ridge when she doesn’t even live in our area.

Colton has one office in Brooklyn at 155 Kings Highway. Not only is the office window a mess, but the outside is too. Both Bill Colton and his staffers are immune to their own surroundings so how would they help anyone else?

The picture at the top is what Google has captured of Colton’s office. Notice the gate is up so it is during work hours. If Colton’s staff is present at the office, why isn’t the garbage or recycling in a garbage can or recycling bin? Colton doesn’t have to own the building to purchase a garbage can for it.

This is the window to Bill Colton’s office yesterday – January 29, 2017.  Colton and Nancy Tong pass is everyday and neither thought to change, clean or update it?! They must be oblivious to how bad it looks.

Broken curb outside of Colton’s office. Doesn’t Assemblyman Colton have any connections to get this taken care of?

This is the library across the street from Bill Colton’s office (picture from Google). The mailbox had graffiti scrawled on it for a long time.

Lee took care of it in the Fall after passing it two or three times because it was such an eyesaw.  Colton and Tong see it everyday when they go to their office and neither did anything about it.

Colton needs to take a walk around his area instead of minding everyone else’s business. His neighborhood is a mess with grafitti everywhere. A $4.00 can of paint solves the problem, but Colton and Nancy Tong are too busy playing politics to get anything done in their area.

We’ve become accustomed to lazy Assembly members because that’s what we have in our area of Brooklyn. You don’t hear anyone mentioning the name Bill Colton when they are talking about defending immigrant rights against Trump. WHY? Because Colton (or his staff) is busy posting junk on Facebook and not doing anything else. We hear about Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal all the time – why? Because she takes her job seriously and wants to help people.

Hugs,
marlene
