Baby’s First Birthday Party in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn

What are the best places to have a birthday party for children in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn?

For a one year old, it’s all about the smash cake picture. Get a cute cake, some cute stuff from etsy and a good photographer. The baby won’t remember anything so don’t go crazy and just enjoy yourself this year!

A) Have a party at home or rent a place in Bay Ridge and bring food and decorations

B) Owls Head Park is a great place to have a first birthday (the permit is $25). Then you can order heroes, salads and antipasta.

C)Good Restaurants for a First Birthday

  • Cebu brunch  appetizer, salad, and choice of 3 brunch main dishes (steak and eggs, French toast, etc). If you want to add alcohol (beer, wine, sangria), it’s an additional $12 per person. Kids are $15. Soda and coffee is included. You can bring in your own dessert — they do not charge a cake cutting fee. There’s tax plus a 20% gratuity added. It’s a $200 deposit to hold a date.

  • Brunch at the Wicked Monk – they have a party room and reasonable prices for brunch on Saturday and Sunday 11:00 – 3:00. The food is always good and they have gluten free options. Plus the service there is very good. (If you have a small party, they will give you the back tables.

  • Hunters – brunch

  • Greenhouse Cafe

  • Mamo Rao – family dinner – 11th Avenue

  • Lockyard’s backyard 9221 – 5th Avenue – very reasonable. Enclosed backyard with air conditioning in the Summer and heat in the Winter. You can bring balloons, bubbles, balls and games to play.

  • Brooklyn Firefly

C) If you want a play place for the other kids coming to the party  – click here
