Our community elected Andrew Gounardes because Gounardes told us that he was going to change the property tax. It’s 2023 – five years later and property taxes continue to climb because Andrew Gounardes uses his seat to push bills for lobbyists (red light cameras = Verra Mobility or aka American Traffic Solutions). Brannan was also lobbied by them.
Bay Ridge pays more than twice what Park Slope pays for property taxes.
