2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the Spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

God wants us to be strong and fearless.  Powerful words.

    Strength, so often associated with military might, so often comes from fear. How sweet when it derives from love and wisdom. Thanks for the reminder.

    I love that verse, but I need reminded often. I get caught up with fear and worry very easily.

    That is hands down my favorite Bible verse in the entire world. After suffering with Anxiety for over 10 years, God used that verse since I was a young girl to help me grow in my relationship with with Him, to learn how to pray and read His Word and take captive my thoughts of fear! THANKS for posting this :).
