My neighbors used to do a lot of cooking and canning in their backyards. They did preserves and spaghetti sauce. I used to peek at them from my top window as many women and even a few husbands gather around a large table that had the fruits/produce and a hot plate. Thank you for visiting my blog and I SO appreciate your good well wishes for Rudi. He is currently kenneled (in our home) for 30 days as we learned he has 2 discs that need to heal.
